3 STRATEGIES ON HOW TO MARKET YOUR BUSINESS
You have your business set up,you're excited and suddenly you realize one thing..... ............"How am I going to get customers to buy my items?"Marketing your business is an essential part for your business and is probably where most of your time and energy will be spent. With so many competitors, you have to go out and get your clientele. Here are my top 3 strategies to get you started.
Facebook: Sign up for a Business Fan Page on Facebook. You can post pictures of your items, receive comments and "likes" for your page.
Instagram: Instagram is very popular for its Photos only based environment, but with the new "Video" feature recently added, it is the best thing that could of happened for business owners. Besides posting pictures of your inventory you can now get creative and make small 15 second snippets or commercials for your business for FREE!! Make it fun, informative and to the point.
Youtube: Yes YouTube! Everyone goes to Youtube whether it's for music, tips or DIY's,whatever it is you'll find it. You can create a Business Channel and post up informative videos about yourself and what your business is about or sells. Create a Small Community of fans and loyal customers.
2. Events
Going out to events is a great way of meeting new people. You may come across potential customers and people who will be very helpful to you and your business.
Try to attend as many events as you can but only those with a crowd where potential clients will be found. For example, a club is not a good place for networking or marketing, people are there to party not to talk, but a small outing like a Grand Opening, A Convention (relatable with your business), Small dinners etc, will give you the opportunity to elaborate more about your business on a one on one level with someone.
Tip:Networking with the right people is more beneficial, than passing all your cards/flyers around only to see them on the floor at the end of the night.
3.A Launch Party
A Launch Party is thrown by a company to celebrate the release of a new product or service. Planning a Small Launch Party for family, friends,co workers or sending invites is a good way to create word of mouth and to give your guests a hands on experience.
TIP: Hire a party planner to help you make your launch party special, unique and memorable. Provide drinks and Hor' d'oeuvres for your guests. Gift bags with items with your company logo are also a great Idea, everyone loves free stuff!
Hope these Marketing Strategies will help you out! Good Luckp
