Marketing 101

3 STRATEGIES ON HOW TO MARKET YOUR BUSINESS

You have your business set up,you're excited and suddenly you realize one thing..... ............"How am I going to get customers to buy my items?"Marketing your business is an essential part for your business and is probably where most of your time and energy will be spent. With so many competitors, you have to go out and get your clientele. Here are my top 3 strategies to get you started.

1.Social Networking Sites:

Twitter: Creating a account on Twitter is a great idea, with 250,000,000 members you will have more than enough clientele to pull in. Make sure that your Business Bio has all the information available and are easy to access. Tweet about your new inventory, what your business is about and make it fun with quotes.

Facebook: Sign up for a Business Fan Page on Facebook. You can post pictures of your items, receive comments and "likes" for your page.

Instagram: Instagram is very popular for its Photos only based environment, but with the new "Video" feature recently added, it is the best thing that could of happened for business owners. Besides posting pictures of your inventory you can now get creative and make small 15 second snippets or commercials for your business for FREE!! Make it fun, informative and to the point.

Tumblr: Tumblr is the number one blogging platform in the world.Creating one for your business will give bloggers a opportunity to not only "like" your pictures but also to "Reblog" them onto their blogs. This is a great way of spreading the word about your business/items without doing most of the work!

Youtube: Yes YouTube! Everyone goes to Youtube whether it's for music, tips or DIY's,whatever it is you'll find it. You can create a Business Channel and post up informative videos about yourself and what your business is about or sells. Create a Small Community of fans and loyal customers.

2. Events

Going out to events is a great way of meeting new people. You may come across potential customers and people who will be very helpful to you and your business.
Try to attend as many events as you can but only those with a crowd where potential clients will be found. For example, a club is not a good place for networking or marketing, people are there to party not to talk, but a small outing like a Grand Opening, A Convention (relatable with your business), Small dinners etc, will give you the opportunity to elaborate more about your business on a one on one level with someone.

Tip:Networking with the right people is more beneficial, than passing all your cards/flyers around only to see them on the floor at the end of the night.

3.A Launch Party

A Launch Party is thrown by a company to celebrate the release of a new product or service. Planning a Small Launch Party for family, friends,co workers or sending invites is a good way to create word of mouth and to give your guests a hands on experience.

TIP: Hire a party planner to help you make your launch party special, unique and memorable. Provide drinks and Hor' d'oeuvres for your guests. Gift bags with items with your company logo are also a great Idea, everyone loves free stuff!

Hope these Marketing Strategies will help you out! Good Luckp

Finding The Perfect Business Name

Finding the perfect Business Name can be a difficult thing to do for most and can lead to Over Thinking. Here are "10 Tips" on making this process easier and fun for you.

1. Check on the Competition: What kind of names do your competitors have? Make a list and compare them to spark your own ideas and to help you develop a name that really stands out from the crowd.
2. Think about Your Target Audience: You want your business name to resonate with the people you are trying to reach. Use what you know about your target audience to measure the relevancy of any names you come up with.
3. Embrace Your Creativity: While you want your name to be easy to pronounce and remember, don’t skip over the value of creating a name that is completely unique. Not only can this make your business more memorable, but it can also provide a great opportunity for a back story, if your creative name has a special meaning.
4. Look at It from All Angles: Think about how the name will fit into the everyday operations of your business, and what it will make others think and feel. Make sure it coveys a clear message and that you are aware of all of the possible connotations that may influence how your business is perceived.
5. Don’t Limit Yourself: If you choose a name that identifies exactly what you do, such as Joe’s Logo Design, you might be limiting the future growth of your business. Sometimes it makes sense to be a little more general, such as Joe’s Graphic Design, so you don’t have to revisit and possibly revamp your brand down the line.
6. Get Input: Once you have a few possibilities, bounce them off of friends, family, colleagues and potential clients if possible. Ask for their initial impressions and suggestions they may have, and then add their feedback to your process.
7. Visualize the Brand: Your business name is more than just a name, it’s a big part of your company brand. Think in terms of your domain name, your marketing materials and how the name will essentially translate into all aspects of this new brand you are creating.
8. Keep It Short: Your business name won’t necessarily be more effective if it’s short, but it may be easier to remember. You can also consider using an acronym, but be careful – unless there is an obvious and memorable tie-in, using an acronym can make your name too generic to be relatable to your target.
9. Sleep On It: Put your shortlist of names aside for a day or two and then come back to it with a fresh perspective. You may feel differently about a name you loved before, or your working list may help you develop a new and perfect name when you review it again.
10.Check Availability of you Name: Once you've decided on the name you want to use for your business, it is important that you do a "Fictitious Name Search" for your state, to check the availability  before you put it to use. You can use it before you check, but it would be disappointing to have to change it later should you find out it is already taken by another company.

Future Ms.Entrepreneurs,More than a name,It's a Movement....

Ever wondered about the possibilities of becoming one of those powerful women who call the shots, the confident woman who knows what she's talking about and who doesn't accept nonsense from anyone? .....Well I did, I day-dreamed of being that woman and I decided that I would BECOME that woman.

It all started with working long hours at a restaurant with very little pay, when suddenly I thought "I'd rather work this hard for myself" and so I did. I didn't know how to start or where to start but my mind was made up, I would find a way to do something I love and make money doing it. After brainstorming and writing down a list of things I love, it finally hit me......I started a online Accessories Shop!

How many cares one loses when one decides not to be something but to be someone.”
